Summary
A synthetic peptide derived from a protein found in gastric juice, studied for soft-tissue and gut healing in animal models.
How it works
Appears to promote angiogenesis and up-regulate growth-factor signalling (notably the VEGFR2 pathway) and modulate the nitric-oxide system, which in animal studies accelerates tendon, ligament, muscle, and gut-lining repair.
